^1 Not humiliated,
not humbled.
^2 Not arrogant, not overbearing. (Sāyaṇa
adopts apparently the latter meaning, when he refers the
word in Ṛgv. I. 145. 2. to Indra
but unless the word be
referred in this sense to his ellipsis सर्वो लोकः, the former
meaning would seem more congenial with the context.) E.
