Sanskritअन्वाहार्य्यपचन अन्वाहार्य्यं तदर्थान्नं पच्यतेऽनेन पच +ल्युट् । दक्षिणाग्नौ ऋग्वेदविधिना स्थापितेऽग्नौ ।“अथ हैनमन्वाहार्य्यपचनोऽनुशशासापो दिशो नक्षत्राणिचन्द्रमा इति छा० उप० । अन्वाहार्य्यपचनो दक्षि-णाग्निरापो दिशो नक्षत्राणि चन्द्रमा इत्येतमोमम चतस्र-स्तनवस्ततुर्द्धा अहमन्वाहार्य्यपचनः विभज्य आत्मानं स्थितःइति” भा० । “प्रसिद्धं हि दर्शपौर्ण्णमासयोरन्वाहार्य्यपचनेहविः श्रपयन्तीति” आन० गि० । “यस्मिन्नग्नावृचा वासाम्ना वा यजुषा वा समिधं वाभ्यादध्यादाहुतिं वाजुहुयादन्ते दक्षिणां वा हरेयुरनु वा गमयेयुर्दक्षिणावाह्येन हरन्त्यान्वाहार्य्यपचनोभविष्यतीति अनु वा गम-यन्ति” इति शत० ब्रा० तस्य निरुक्तिर्दर्शिता ।
