पुं,
 (अनु पश्चात् आधीयते न्यस्यते, अनु+ आ + धा + कि ।) एकस्मिन् यदर्पितं वस्तुतेन पुरुषान्तरे अमुष्मिन् स्वामिनि त्वं दास्यसीतिनिक्षिप्तं तत् । इति विवादार्णवसेतुः ॥
कार्य्येषुवाचनेन अमुष्मिन् पुरुषे त्वं दद्या इति परिभाष्ययत् समर्पितं तत् । इति हलायुधः ॥
यथा, --“अर्थमार्गणकार्य्येषु अन्यस्मिन् वचनान्मम ।दद्यास्त्वमिति यो दत्तः स इहान्वाधिरुच्यते” ॥
