veyed by the following verse: यस्यावटूकर्णशिरोहनुस्थो म-
न्यागतो वाप्यनिलोऽन्यतो वा । कुर्याद्रुजोऽति भ्रुवि लोचने वा
तमन्यतोवातमुदाहरन्ति ‘when the air of the back of the
neck, of ears, head, jaw, the tendons which form the nape
of the neck or elsewhere produces excessive pain in the eye-
brow and eye, they call this (disease of the eye) अन्यतो-
वात’. The word occurs also in its uncompounded state,
e. g. हताधिमन्थोऽनिलपर्यायश्च शुष्काक्षिपाकोऽन्यत एव
वातः. E. अन्यतस् and वात.
