अनुलोमजः, त्रि, (अनुलोमेन यथाक्रमेण जातः, अनुलोम + जन + डः, उपपदसमासः) । अनु-लोमजातः । अप्रतिलोमजः । यथा । ब्राह्मणात्क्षत्त्रियागर्भजातः । क्षत्त्रियात् वैश्यायां जातः ।इत्यादि उत्तमादधमायां जातः । यथा, --“सङ्कीर्णयोनयो ये तु प्रतिलोमानुलीमजाः ।अन्योऽन्यव्यतिषक्ताश्च तान् प्रवक्ष्याम्यशेषतः” ॥

 स्त्री० अनुलोमेन यथाक्रमेण जातः जन--ड ।परिणीतक्षत्रियादिस्त्रीषु विप्रादिभ्य उत्कृष्टेभ्यो वर्णेभ्योजाते मूर्द्धावसिक्तादौ सङ्कीर्णवर्णे । अनुलोमजाश्च “विप्रान्मू-र्द्धावसिक्तो हि क्षत्रियायां, विशःस्त्रियाम् । अम्बष्ठः, शूद्र्यांनिषादजातिः पारशवोऽपि वा” “वैश्याशूद्र्योस्तु राज-न्यात्, माहिष्योग्रौ नुतौ स्मृतौ, वैश्यात्तु करणः शूद्र्यां, विन्नास्वेष विधिः स्मृत” इति च याज्ञ० स० ।
