Englishअनुमति / ANUMATI. Daughter of aṅgiras, son of brahmā. aṅgiras had two wives, smṛti and khyāti, and four daughters, anumati, rākā, kuhū and sinīvālī by smṛti, and three sons, Ucatthya, bṛhaspati, saṁvarta by khyāti. (viṣṇu purāṇa, Part 1, Chapter 10).
