 (अनुकल्प्यते गौणत्वेन विधीयते, अनु + कृप् + णिच् + अच् ।) मुख्यकल्पादधमः ।गौणकल्पः । मुख्यस्थानापन्नप्रतिनिधिः । यथा, “व्रीह्यभावे नीवारैर्यजेत” । इत्यमरभरतौ ॥
(“प्रभुः प्रथमकल्पस्य योऽनुकल्पेन वर्त्तते ।न साम्परायिकं तस्य दुर्म्मतेर्विद्यते फलं” ॥

 कल्प्यते विधीयते इति कृप--णिच्--अच् कल्पोविहितः हीनः कल्पो मुख्यकल्पादधमः प्रा० स० ।गौणकल्पे, प्रतिनिधौ । “एष वै प्रथमः कल्पः प्रदानेहव्यकव्ययोः । अनुकल्पस्त्वयं ज्ञेय” इति । “प्रभुः प्रथम-कल्पस्य योऽनुकल्पेन वर्त्तते” इति च मनुः “समर्थः प्रथमेकल्पे योऽनुकल्पे प्रवर्त्तते” इति स्मृतिः । “भार्य्याः कार्य्याःसजातीयाः सर्वेषां श्रेयस्यःस्युरितिमुख्यः कल्पस्ततोऽनुक-ल्पस्तु चतस्रोब्राह्मणस्येत्यादि” पैठीनसि स्मृतिः । अनुकल्पश्चमुख्यद्रव्यद्याभावे सुसदृशदव्यान्तरादि प्रतिनिधिरूपम् ।यथा “यवाद्यभावे गोधूमाः मध्वाद्यभावे गुडादयः । एवंउपवासासामर्थ्ये नक्तं “हविष्यान्नादि स्मृतिषूक्तं वेदितव्यम् ।अनुगतं कल्पं वेदाङ्गभेदम् अत्या० स० । कल्पानुगते ग्रन्थेअनुकल्पप्रतिपादकग्रन्थे च तद्वेत्तरि उक्थादि० ठक् ॥
