अग्निमारुति अग्निश्च मरुच्च तयोरपत्यं वाह्वादेराकृतिगणत्वादिञ् ततो वृद्धिः देवताद्वन्द्वे च आनङं बाधित्वा‘इद्वृद्धाविति’ इति “देवताद्वन्द्वे च” इति द्विपदवृद्धौ पृ०पूर्व्वपदस्य ह्रस्वः । अगस्त्ये मुनौ तस्य च कल्पान्तरेताभ्यामुत्पत्तिरनुसन्धेया ।
