स्वावध्यूर्द्ध्वतनाष्टमावधिदशमपुरुषपर्य्यन्तपुरुष-त्रयम् । तेषां दशमपुरुषपर्य्यन्तसन्ततिः । स्वाव-ध्यधस्तनाष्टमावधिदशमपुरुषपर्य्यन्तसन्ततिश्च ॥
तेषामशौचं यथा, बृहस्पतिः ।“दशाहेन सपिण्डास्तु शुध्यन्ति प्रेतसूतके ।त्रिरात्रेण सकुल्यास्तु स्नात्वा शुध्यन्तिगोत्रजाः ॥
”इति शुद्धितत्त्वम् ॥

दायाधिकारिसकुल्यास्तु पञ्चमपुरुषावधयः ।यथा । बौधायनः । प्रपितामहः पितामहःपिता स्वयं सोदर्य्यभ्रातरः सवर्णायाः पुत्त्रःपौत्त्रः प्रपौत्त्रो वा एतानविभक्तदायादान्सपिण्डान् आचक्षते । विभक्तदायादान् सकु-ल्यान् आचक्षते सत्सङ्गजेषु तद्गामी ह्यर्थो भव-तीति । इति दायतत्त्वं शुद्धितत्त्वञ्च ॥

तस्यकन्यादानाधिकारित्वं यथा । विष्णुः । पितापितामहो भ्राता सकुल्यो मातामही माताचेति कन्याप्रदः पूर्व्वनाशे प्रकृतिस्थः परःपरः । नारदश्च ।‘पिता दद्यात् स्वयं कन्यां भ्राता वानुमतः पितुःमातामहो मातुलश्च सकुल्यो बान्धवस्तथा ॥
माता त्वभावे सर्व्वेषां प्रकृतौ यदि वर्त्तते ।तस्यामप्रकृतिस्थायां कन्यां दद्युः स्वजातयः ॥
’इत्युद्वाहतत्त्वम् ॥
