कृत्वस्, ind. at the end of a numeral or numeral
adjective, = fold, times (e. g. दश-कृत्वस्, ten times

In the earlier language कृत्वस् is used as a separate

it was
perhaps originally an acc. plur. fr. a noun कृतु,
formed by the affix तु fr. the root 1. कृ
