Englishहैहय / HAIHAYA. A King, the son of vatsa, born in the dynasty of śaryāti. He was the founder of the haihaya dynasty. He became a brahmin by choosing Sage bhṛgu as his Preceptor. He was also known as vītahavya. (anuśāsana parva, Chapter 30, Verses 54-57).
