(1) in Mv 〔i.188.3〕 (vs) seems to be an ep. of the Buddha (cf. Pali Sn 〔548〕 where it is one of a series of such): (śaraṇaṃ vādi-śārdūlaṃ, i.e. to the B., śreṣṭhī tatra upāgataḥ, ) Sujāta-darśanatvaṃ ca śreṣṭhī paryadhigacchasi (aor.), and the merchant attained the state of beholding the Well-born (or, of having the same views as
less likely, of having agreeable views, see next

Sujāta, son of Dhṛtarāshṭra. § 611 (Śalyap.): IX, 26, 1405 (among 11 sons of Dhṛtarāshṭra who attacked Bhīmasena), 1418 (slain by Bhīmasena).
पुराणम्
English
सुजात / SUJĀTA I. One of the hundred sons of dhṛtarāṣṭra. He attacked Bhīmasena in the battle of bhārata and Bhīmasena killed him. (M.B. śalya Parva, Chapter 26, Verse 5).
सुजात / SUJĀTA II. A monkey King. sujāta was one of the sons born to pulaha by his wife śvetā. (brahmāṇḍa purāṇa, 2: 7, 180-181).

Su-jāta, ‘well-born, is an epithet found applied to men in a
few passages of the Rigveda. It would probably be a mistake
to press the sense so as to denote ‘nobles’ as compared with
the people. See Sabhā.
