2 pravārayati (= Pali pavāreti), celebrates the pravāraṇa 2 (°ṇā) ceremony, at the end of the rainy season: pravāraṇāṃ pravārayitvā Divy 〔93.10〕
varṣoṣitayā … bhikṣuṇyā ubhayasaṃghas … pravārayitavyo (here caus. in mg.) Bhīk 〔5a.3—4〕, after the rainy season a nun must have both orders (monks and nuns) perform the pravāraṇā (for her)
pravārayitavyam Av 〔ii.136.6〕, so read with Corrig. 〔211〕, the pravāraṇā ceremony is to be performed.
