one-
fourth of the produce sometimes collected from rent-free hold-
ings in the possession of gods and Brāhmaṇas
a kind of tax
sometimes used to indicate ‘taxes in general’

paṅga-tappu, paṅga-tappu-śulka, paṅga-parihṛta, paṅga-parihṛta-
