Sanskritद्रौपदी, (द्रुपदस्यापत्यं स्त्री । द्रुपद + अण् ।ङीप् ।) द्रुपदराजकन्या । तत्पर्य्यायः । पाञ्चाली२ कृष्णा ३ सैरिन्ध्री ४ नित्ययौवना ५ वेदिजा६ याज्ञसेनी ७ । इति हेमचन्द्रः । ३ । ३७४ ॥
अस्याः पञ्चस्वामिकारणं यथा, --वह्निरुवाच ।“शृणु राम ! महाभाग ! सीतासंगोपनं कुरु ।सप्ताहाभ्यन्तरे चैव रावणो दुष्टराक्षसः ।दुर्निवार्य्यः प्राक्तनेन जानकीञ्च हरिष्यति ॥
राम उवाच ।सीतां गृहीत्वा त्वं गच्छ छायात्रैव तु तिष्ठतु ।कलत्रवर्ज्जनं कर्म्म सर्व्वेषाञ्च जुगुप्सितम् ॥
सीतां गृहीत्वा प्रययौ रुदन्तीञ्च हुताशनः ।सीतायाः सदृशी छाया तस्थौ श्रीरामसन्निधौ ॥
