EnglishKUVERA, (God of wealth, the Hindu Plutus, chief of the
Yakshas and Guhyakas, into whose forms transmigrate
the souls of those men who in this life are absorbed in
the pursuit of riches. He is the son of Viśravas by
Ilavilā and regent of the north. He is represented in
external appearance as a mere man, but with a deformed
body, having three legs and but eight teeth. Hence
