Rigveda^1

weapon

Vedic

last
act
of
the
funeral
rite
included
the
removal
of
the
bow
from
the
right
hand
of
the
dead

The
weapon
was
composed
of
a
stout
staff
bent
into
a
curved
shape

vakra
),

strip
